CHAPTER UPDATE

Pig Dinner and Chapter Update:

It was great to see all the graduates who made it out to Pig Dinner and Homecoming Weekend this October. David Verklin '78, CEO of Carat-NA (a large international advertising agency) and an Omicron graduate, was our keynote speaker. Tommy Hayne, Graduate Relations Chairman, did an excellent job hosting the event. Also, many thanks to Erik Kisa for his continued hospitality in hosting the graduate tailgate.

As always, the Omicron Chapter continues to be strong at the University and across Phi Gamma Delta in general. Over the past 3 years, the Chapter has seen some of the strongest rush numbers in UVA history. Omicron is now the 2nd largest fraternity on grounds, and one of the strongest in terms of Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence. The Chapter was recently awarded the Cheney Cup for 2006 and will be celebrating its 150th anniversary this year!

Fraternally,
Nick Feakins, Purple Legionnaire (Class of 2005)
